Kate Middleton Rocks a New Staple Outfit for Summer and We’re in Love!
While summer is a few weeks away from officially arriving, we can’t dismiss the fact that it is going to be entirely different this year. However, it doesn’t mean that you can’t or shouldn’t buy pieces that are friendly for the upcoming warmer months – just take a look at the ever-fashionable Kate Middleton, who is starting to bring back her favorite comfy and breezy staples.
Just like us, Kate and Prince William, along with their kids, are holed up in their house as they wait for the pandemic to be over. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also attending to their royal engagements virtually, pretty much how we go about our meetings nowadays.

The influential couple has also been boosting people’s morale at this scary time. Of late, the pair joined a Zoom call and expressed their gratitude to volunteers who have been extending help to those in need during this Covid-19 pandemic. Even in an online appearance, the timeless Queen consort opted to wow in an elegant but lightweight white button-down eyelet M.i.h Jeans top that her avid fans would be familiar with.
That’s because it was the same thing she donned at the Chelsea Flower Show in May. If you’re not familiar with eyelet clothes, the design dates back to centuries ago and was very popular during the Victorian period.
It is definitely perfect for summer since the fabric has many ‘eyes’ or holes in it that scream breathability and ventilation. It definitely becomes trendy during the upcoming season because it’s not just airy, but is also lightweight.

It is safe to say that this blouse isn’t the only eyelet clothing Kate has on her presumably massive closet. If you look back on her previous engagements, she has worn different styles of this quintessential staple in warmer days.
During her visit to Australia in 2014, the mom of three stunned in an ecru eyelet dress and paired it with brown wedges. As expected, Kate looked classic and radiant as always!
Fashionista
While people are calling her the most fashionable royal, props must also be given to Kate for how she underlines sustainable fashion. One way she is doing this is by rewearing her clothes, which is quite unexpected for one of the most photographed women in the world.

There have been many times she recycled her designer clothes as well as relatively unknown brands, which is why she should be lauded. In February, Kate rewore an Alexander McQueen dress to the 73rd BAFTA Awards that she first donned in 2012 during a state dinner in Malaysia. Instead of buying a new dress for the 2020 event, she just decided to update her accessories.
